Subject: replacing a dead crabapple
Comments: I have an old 35 year crabapple tree that has died. It is next to another one that is still in good shape. I would like to plant a native crab like the Malus coronaria. Is it ok to plant a crabapple in the same area as where a dead crabapple has grownOr should I plant another small native tree like a cornus florida dogwood
